Why? I understand the typical UN denunciations. In 1945 the United States created the UN in San Francisco. In the 50's and the 60's the extremist John Birch Society denounced this organization along with other rantings. It keeps looking like in the 90's their successors took over the GOP. As evidence I point to the Republican Party platforms of most states as the as the almost uniform denunciations of the UN by the right media..
