How do western parliments handle term limits? ..or are they generally not stable enough forms of government to need to worry?
William King served as PM of Canada for 21 years, but it was broken up into 3 separate stints from 1921-26, 1926-1930 and 1935-1948
Richard Seddon was PM of Canada for 13 years from 1893-1906
Robert Menzies was PM of Australia for 18 years from 1949-1966 and 1939-1941.
Our current PM is just finishing his third term, and lining up for a fourth in an election later this year. I don't think they're that unstable...
