1)  The server wasn't sending things properly for awhile.

2)  That post was longer than would go through automatically; it was
around 60K, and there's a limit of 40K for a message going through
automatically.

3)  When I went to check on the posts requiring moderation, there was a
problem with the server or something.  :(  (As soon I checked at a time
the server was working properly, Nick had already taken care of it.)

4)  And sometimes larger e-mails just take longer to get there -- an
e-mail is broken into a bunch of packets of a certain size, and the
longer the message, the more packets, and you don't get the whole
message until the last packet successfully managed the journey.  So
sometimes longer messages take a little longer to get from A to B than
shorter messages.

I almost think the Imp of the Perverse is tweaking the server at
times....
