Now, I know this is a fiery debate to get into, but here I go anyway.
I don't personally have any problem with the
actual price - hell, I tried to run a tour this
year and got quoted £9,000 for pitches (idiot in
charge at sports centre) - the only query I have
is with the difference from last year's price. I
won't ask for detailed finances, but could you
just explain quickly what it is that caused the
£30 jump? Because, without casting aspersions
myself, it might look to a cynical mind as if
it's merely taking advantage of the high price of last year's nationals.
I think there is something here that people are entitled to an explanation of.
If the pitches are more expensive this year, just
say so, and I suspect that everyone will get off your back.
