Slightly aside from the actual awarding of spirit scores, there has been a
few mentions of difficulties of collecting spirit votes and scores. It was
mentioned that many volenteers would be needed to help the TD in collecting
scores and actually scoring the games, which can be difficult if we only try
to recruit from within the ultimate world. I suggest that we look towards
youth organisations like the Scouts. Many other sports use such associations
and on a much larger scale too, talking as a Scout leader myself I dont
think it would be too difficult to find 40ish young people from an area to
help out with a tournament, and it may only cost a small donation if
anything. Whats more, in addition to accurate and efficient scoring, the
sport itself would be promoted to the individuals who help out at the
tournaments hopefully spuring them into giving ultimate a go and thus giving
junior ultimate a real boost in numbers (hopefully)
