My understanding agrees with the 'old' player. Otherwise the
'Greatest' would be a travel. If you can pass the disc within the
first 3 steps of receiving it, providing you don't violate...

17.2.1.3. a receiver does not come to a stop as quickly as possible or
changes direction after catching the disc

...then it's all good.
