Isn't that the point of spirit though? Adrenaline and passion makes you
initially think you caught it/didn't foul/were in the pitch/whatever,
but if (a second later) you stop and think about what you actually
physically did, have the conviction to do something about it, and go
against your celebrating team-mates then you deserve the applause of the
sycophants.
