Hello everyone,I am a fresh graduate student in State Key Lab of CAD & CG at
Zhejiang University ,China .My main research direction is 3D simulation .It
includes finite element analysis ,something about mesh and so on .I am familiar
with C,C++,HTML,CSS and java web programming.I would appreciate it so much if I
can attribute efforts to a CAD open source community .And fortunately,I found
BRL-CAD is one of the mentor groups in the Google Summer of Code .After reading
given ideas carefully ,I find the task ‘STEP exporter’ is attractive .I learned
that STEP describes the standard for information throughout the life cycle of
the product .But I know little about how to use this library in code.I am
looking forward to someone guiding me and telling me what to do first
