While there is an older copy of STEPcode provided with BRL-CAD, the most 
current STEPcode sources are in their own repository: http://stepcode.org

That would be a BRL-CAD project, not a STEPcode project.  Transferring the .g 
objects into .stp files would not just be the first task ?? that is the 
entirety of the project.  You??d need to expand on what exactly that means in 
great detail so you understand the complexity and challenges involved.

OpenVSP is not part of BRL-CAD.  Charlie was itemizing examples of projects 
that use STEPcode of which BRL-CAD and OpenVSP are two examples.
