1500.000 liters is about 75.000 kegs. If you make (and drink!) 50 kegs a
year (one a week), that is 150 years. 

Of course there are losses involved in the process. I bet a good amount
of CO2 fizzles out of the tap, some is tied up by the foamy head that
will dissipate before long... When a keg is empty, it still has 20
liters of CO2 at some pressure, which will be let out when cleaning the
keg... 

So yes, about one lifetime sounds reasonable ;-)

Maybe someone here knows how many liters of beer do the commercial
outlets pump with one bottle of CO2?
