I'm not sure, but the size restrictions for FAT and ext2fs stage1.5
seem to be 512 bytes. The master copy of the superblock in a
partition starts from (the start of the partition) + 1024 bytes, and
MBR is 512 bytes, so the spare size after MBR is 512 bytes. This means
that FAT and ext2fs stage1.5 are not realistic. One possible way to
use them is to have a partition for stage1.5 like OS/2 boot
loader. But if we have such a partition, stage1.5 is not
required. Ugh...
