I have one question: should the rest of stage2 be loaded by stage1?
Or by stage2 itself? Both are able to load the rest, so this question
is just which policy is preferable to the other. Let me explain how to
implement it in both cases by pseudo code.
In the case that stage1 loads it:
In stage1:
record_sector = the sector that stage2 uses to recode its sectors;
load a sector from record_sector;
load all stage2 sectors from the list of record_sector;
In the case that stage2 loads it:
[This code must exist within the first 4KB.]
if the end signature of stage2 is not found in core; then
load the sectors after 4KB;
