We are working on a policy of when it is legally acceptable to use source code generated by LLMs. However, the widely used LLMs are unjust (they are SaaSS; see https://gnu.org/philosophy/who-does-that-server-really-serve.html). We cannot endorse a program which tells people to use an LLM if they want to change it. So released programs should be written to help humans maintain them. -- Dr Richard Stallman (https://stallman.org) Chief GNUisance of the GNU Project (https://gnu.org) Founder, Free Software Foundation (https://fsf.org) Internet Hall-of-Famer (https://internethalloffame.org)
