This just made my radar, <https://sourceware.org/pipermail/libc-alpha/2026-June/178028.html>: While the current GNU Project policy is not to accept LLM-generated content in the projects, that still leaves other uses like bug triage, patch review, and research as ways to use these tools. So it looks like GNU devs are considering AI and LLMs for more than just patches. It might be a good idea to increase the scope of the deliberations, if the organization has not already done so.
