And they call it RFC-compliant?! Brrr... I would agree if you wouldn't have called your applet "sendmail". Heh. Let us decompose it. What exactly parts do we need and how to combine them then? > Well, I'll make FEATURE_SENDMAIL_BE_DUMB then. > > I'd do the opposite. Start with a very simple/dumb sendmail and have > config options for additional features. I.E FEATURE_SENDMAIL_CHARSETS, > FEATURE_SENDMAIL_ATTATCHMENTS I was mostly joking. More serious, when was born, BB sendmail has extensive configury. I dropped it because even fully-blown it took about 3Kb which I thought was good enough. The main intent of starting development was inability (in the past) to send via https://mail.gmail.com patches to BB list using console web browser called links. If you take it in account you'll find the origin of all so-called _weird_ features that BB sendmail has. Really, if I'd started sendmail as a smart nc, things would have been different. Thanks! I guess I owe you a beer :) Please, send it as attachment: BB sendmail allows for unlimited ones :^) -- Vladimir
