I've gotten a spool of stainless cable and the stainless wire rope clamps and
thimbles. AUWC has the long ladder.
We're set.

I found four stainless steel cable clamps. [U bolts with saddle]
If there is a picture, then I can locate stainless hardware which I think is
also used to secure pretty wire rope fencing

The sub has galvanized clamps now and they are in poor shape. Home Depot has
3/16" stainless clamps. The dead end grips only come in galvanized, from what
I've found.
Mike, we'll go with your recommendation.

On the ends of the horizontal antenna mounts [ the huge ones that go to the
transmitters] are stainless steel clamps
You do not want to use galv fittings

No, the guy clamps are what we're steering away from, if at all possible. The
"Chinese fingercuffs" as Rick Hiller coined them, would be a much better
solution, given the environment and the aesthetics.

I have some heavyweight galvanized guy clamps that may fit the bill.
Will send more information later.

I'm looking for a couple 3/16" (red label) preformed galvanized steel guy
grips.
It appears Greybar may have them, but there must be some other local sources.
Maybe someone (on the list) has these gathering dust from their last tower
guying project.
These will be used for replacing the USS Cavalla wire antenna.
Thanks for the bandwidth,Mark K5MGJ
