Question: have we arrived at a decision regarding the kids' email? If
we're going web-based gmail, then we don't need a toolbar link to any
POP3 email client.
More progress was made on graduate machines yesterday but we aren't
quite finished and the count isn't quite up to 10 yet. I know Ed H took
one home (and thanks, Ed, for the post about sorting out the modem
driver -- can you make sure it's in the wiki?), can't remember if Robert
has one as well? (in addition to the broken classroom machine, that is).
However, just before I left we started working on a Dell, and there was
a stack of identical or nearly so machines, so that will really
streamline the process.
Next Saturday, I'd like to get all 10 machines finished, and set up with
the students' usernames and passwords for dialup access. That way, we
are in great shape for the graduation the following week.
Dave H, are classes still scheduled for next Saturday (even with Fair St
Louis going on that weekend)?
