Ed gave that machine to me yesterday. I'll drop it off at the shop sometime this week along with the Edubuntu machine. > can't remember if Robert has one as well? (in addition to the > broken classroom machine, that is). Nope. The one I had is already in the shop. As for the classroom machine, I was able to boot it up just fine. In looking through the logs, I noticed that the last entries show that a USB device was connected and then disconnected. > However, just before I left we started working on a Dell, and there > was a stack of identical or nearly so machines, so that will really > streamline the process. Yes. Those are from the Youth and Family Center. > Next Saturday, I'd like to get all 10 machines finished, and set up > with > the students' usernames and passwords for dialup access. Can someone e-mail post or e-mail me directly the class schedule (ie. date, topic, instructor'name)? I'd like to put it on the calendar so that we know who is teaching what when. That way we'll be able to set up reminders. It will also give us a clear idea of when the graduate machines need to be done.
