It's still a matter of timing -- doing all the email/yahoo group/wiki/IM/address/phone swap/detailed things is going to take [x] minutes??? Also, regards email/Yahoo group: this is for existing volunteers and BOD staff. Surely all of those a) have an email address, and hopefully b) are signed up for at least one of the Yahoo groups. Wiki stuff, IM chat -- those are separate items for discussion. Can add more topics to meeting, or cover another time. Some of this stuff can surely be done online, or on the Saturdays beforehand. I know it sounds like I keep slapping things down -- I'm just looking at timing. Start at 1:00pm; the meal should take, what, an hour? That takes us to 2:00pm at least; then 3 hours just for the topics already listed, means we are up to 5:00pm, and that's without adding any of the other suggestions. Alternative: just shut down the shop that Saturday; don't open it to public at all. Start meetings at about 10:30 or 11:00; break around 1:00 for food, then go back and meet some more? Theresa
