Hi gang, I'd like to propose moving our bugs from bugzilla to JIRA. I can see several reasons for doing this:
1/ I've personally been using JIRA for the past 2 years and I've not had any problem with it. I just love it. 2/ It handles not only bugs but any kind of issues: improvements requests, feature requests, tasks, bugs, etc. This will allow us to move our TODO list to JIRA too. 3/ Eventually we should be able to use JIRA to generate our changes page. JIRA can even be queried by an Ant task (it returns XML) to generate static changes page (or the JIRA changelog page can be directly linked). 4/ Much more user-friendly 5/ It'll provide users with a much clearer roadmap about where Cactus is going. JIRA is more than a bug tracker, it's a *lightweight* project management tool in the sense that you define iterations with it and content of these iterations (be them bugs fixes, new features, etc). I'm willing to handle the move and migrate our TODO list. Here's my +1 Thanks -Vincent Wanna see JUnit in Action?
