Probably off this topic, but I personally would also like to see the spam moved to a different list - at least CVS commits, but preferably bug updates and integration failures too.
This is because it is hard for me to follow the discussion threads in all the spam (I use text-only digest mode).
I'm not a cactus developer, but even if I were I'd prefer to have the dev list for discussion only, and be able easily filter the spam to a separate folder based on the list name.
I don't think the CVS commits and bugzilla notifications really qualify as "spam". It is all vital information for the developers, which is what this list is about.
But I can see how the CVS commits (and now also the Wiki changes) can make Digest mode pretty painful, and would personally support a separate "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" list for those.
On the other hand, I really don't see the bugzilla/jira mails moving off the dev list. The discussions going on in the bug tracker is just as important as the normal discussion on the mailing list, and I wouldn't draw an artificial border between the two.
