Flogging a dead horse a bit here. But i'd agree that the documentation needs improvement.
mainly with examples, I'm new to cake and I'm getting lost easily, I'm currently stuck on how to create a select box and while the api is great for telling me what function to use, the attribute details are going right over my head.
