The elbow turns are in the version on Erik's website: http://www.erikhoffman.com/peace.html I've been calling that dance since at least 2000 or so, and my copy (taken from Erik's "Contra Comments" book, if I remember correctly), has hand allemandes instead. I certainly danced it to Erik's calling in 1997-1999, and I don't recall the elbow turns back then, but it's certainly possible that it did, and I just transcribed the dance incorrectly.
