Dear Friend kangaroo, Yeah Yeah the Khmer Rouge wanted a pure communist society, But why did they have to massacre the Cambodian people indiscriminately?? Why didn't they kill just those who opposed them??
Stalin and Mao killed only some of those who were of the upper echelon in the "ancient regime" and those who opposed them. They didn't kill indiscriminately. Hitler killed only those who opposed him, and of course he committed a genocide against the Jews, inside and outside Germany. However he considered the Jews inside as a foreign race, not as his German people. He even elevated the German race as the greatest race on Earth. How did the Khmer Rouge treat the Cambodian people?? They treated them as ants. And yeah you can kill ants anytime you want to, without the slightest second thought. You don't try to exterminate a people if you don't hate them.
