Very little chance of a swimmer catching the boat. If you go over it
is probably in bad sea conditions. You will have foul weather gear on.
The boat will always be moving, maybe even backwards. Once in the
doldrums the boat was parked on a mirror of an ocean. Diving off the
bow I came up behind the boat. A 66 footer. That was in trunks.
Do not rely on swimming back to the boat.
