Interesting.

I drilled a 1/2 bolt for 1/4 inch to make a cam.   I put a pair of 
holes under my rotary axis and used the cam to get them aligned.  Was 
more fun than trying to use a screwdriver.

No reason I could not have put a bearing on it.
