Two things, Do you have the jumper from ERR?RES to encoder on the drive? How did you 
route your encoder cables in relation to the motor leads? If they are in the same 
seal-tite enclosure etc. they will cross talk and fault the drive. The motor leads and 
encoder leads are like long antennas. Even if the encoder leads are sheilded it doesnt 
matter they have to be seperated. Encoder + and - must be sheilded from the encoder A 
and B channels as well. A ground from the machine control to machine also. Just a few 
things to check.
