More advice needed! Before we head south with Virgo we want to take Connie's brother Maurice for a ride on the Anderton Lift.
The question is - what is there to do/see once we're down onto the Weaver and how long. Ideally my first plan is to go down one afternoon and come back the next afternoon. We can't really spare more than that amount of time so how do we best use it. We are intending to go down late September and 3 - 4 days down there as a really lazy end to a fortnight. Nicholson gives us Dock Rd Edwardian Pumping station, Northwich, with old engines and pumps working, Salt museum, Weaver Hall, Northwich.
