I am happy doing either unless there's a strong wind to make things 
tricky. However, out of preference for the exercise (and in 
deference to Simon's bad back) I usually work the locks. Hatton 
however was a different case. We both worked half each which seemed 
fair, especially as going up was the end of a 41 lock day in August.
