Ah that accounts for why you weren't at the mooring when I picked up the
freelander. I walked up to say hello and bum cuppa!!
I'm moored on the 14 day opposite Midland chandlers. I've just sat
through being whacked by a big napton boat cruising after dark and
failing to pass an oncoming boat at reasonable speed. He then
completely missed the junction and spent 20 minutes getting himself
pointing in the right direction :(
Presumably left himself short of time to get back to the marina.
Earlier a calcutt boat charged out of the the turn at full tilt and kept
going until he hit the opposite side by the tree. Fortunately nothing
else was coming.
