According to their Annual Report, £3.7 million. Another interesting
figure is a record £7 million on dredging. Its seems also that "new
legislation and environmental controls mean that is can now cost
£100 per digger bucket to lift and dispose of dredgings". All taken
from the Chief Executives Statement. Towards the end of his statement
he said "Customers and communities pay for the upkeep of the waterways
either directly or indirectly (through charges like license fees,
angling rents, property rents) or indirectly (through tax, both personal
and corporate"
