I recall that when the redevelopment plans were first announced, there was
adverse reaction on this list (or its predecessor, whatever). We were
encouraged to object to the plans. However, when the facts became known, the
adverse reaction was dissipated and the redevelopment was seen as quite a
good thing. I think the Tony Matts Fan Club has a smallish membership.
