I think what we should be targetting is not the closure itself but the fact 
thaat its on a "third-party" key.  Many years ago BW responded to security 
problems on the visitor moorings by Islington Tunnel by providing gates at 
bothe ends that were closed overnight on a BW key.  This was generally 
welcomed by boaters in the area.

As for the NWF, I doubt whther one further bit of seurity fencing will add 
very much to the barrage of day-security and night-security fences that the 
NWF seems to need.
