There are lots of de-greasers on the market, some are citrus based
which are more environmentally friendly than the solvent based ones,
but what they remove will contain hydrocarbons. I would use one of the
engine cleaners from a car accessory shop and again use a nappy liner
to wipe it up, not using gallons of liquid. Put the whole lot in a
plastic bin bag and send to land fill .
