I used some Swarfega "Heavy Dutye Surface Cleaner and Degreaser" from Screwfix recently £9.99 for 5L (No 47781 in Cleaning section). Can be diluted with water and is biodegradable. I found it excellent for cleaning and degreasing the guts of a Hydrovane compressor. Did not stink as Gunk and Jizer do. -- Richard
