Twice the pay :D :D
In Suffolk we have the CFRs but they are not first aiders but are 
trained to a higher level than the ambulance paramedics, they start on 
the ambulance run and then get promoted. We also have community first 
aiders who are just that. members of the community who are trained in 
first aid and I think defribulation.
