I presume ours are the same. Certainly to use all the kit in the car would 
imply they were very highly trained. I must as the one I see at our marina next 
time he stops there - it being as good as anywhere to wait for the next local 
call out. (Especially as the odd resident has been taken from his boat moored 
there to hospital.)

Twice the pay :D :D
In Suffolk we have the CFRs but they are not first aiders but are 
trained to a higher level than the ambulance paramedics, they start on 
the ambulance run and then get promoted. We also have community first 
aiders who are just that. members of the community who are trained in 
first aid and I think defribulation.
