This really really REALLY breaks my heart but .... I find myself forced to defend Adrian at this point
Even though I passionately dislike Adrian's views on the market economy etc., he has never made any bones about his views and nor has he ever pretended to be a disinterested party when the opposite was the case. OK, so he doesn't add a declaration of interest to every single post but I don't see that there is an obligation for him to do so. If everyone who has, or has had, a business interest in the waterways was, as a result, not allowed to comment on the future of the waterways a lot of valuable (or otherwise :-?) input would not be made. At the end of the day, nearly all the posters on this subject have some sort of vested interest. Apart from me of course! Bru
