>From my past motor trade experience, water leaks behind the door trim is the most likeley cause of water leaks round the doors...most people think it is the doorseal. A lot of rain water passes through the door of a car, the seal at the bottom of the window is never that watertight. I still have a double sided sticky gun, that we used to use at work to seal the plastic membrane...often damaged by lads putting in upgraded speakers. I was very surprised about the Leon, as there is no plastic membrane, the doors have a bolt on inner pane, to which the window regulator is attached. The rubber seal had gone at the bottom, presumably due to water laying on the inside face.
