You can leave the domain names with Freeparking and just buy web hosting elsewhere. Freeparking will let you change the DNS addresses that the domain name ends up with. I have always been happy with Freeparking. They give you plenty of warnings when a domain name is about to expire and also guard against you accidentally forgetting to tell them that you have changed email addresses (and so not receive their renewal reminders) by asking you occasionally to confirm that your email address is still the same. Someone I know (not me) got into a real mess after changing ISPs and not receiving renewal reminders! Also if you decide you no longer want a domain name you can just not renew it. Unlike with some well-known companies who will charge your credit card to renew it anyway. There can be advantages to having the domain names held by someone other than whoever hosts your site, as I found out a few years ago. I have all but one of my domain names with Freeparking and all of my web hosting with AstroHosts. -- Martin Clark Pennine Waterways Website http://www.penninewaterways.co.uk
