David, thanks very much for that. I'm delighted about the lock platforms which we've all been banging on about for years (big cheers from the single handers, here). And to be honest, Adrian's right (not words you hear from me very often) about the side pond. Even so, it'll be nice to have it cleared out, and presumably at the very worst it'll be a reservoir for when you run out of water. Run out of water. Macclesfield Canal. ROFL!
