For my pennyworth, I would ALWAYS highly recommend>>>>

Crowther Marine (J Crowther Ltd) Eden Works Honeywell Lane Oldham
 Lancs ? 0161 652 4234 0161 627 4265<<<<

They didn't have a pattern for a prop to suit my special hull needs,
(After looking), so they fabricated a pattern, especially for my boat
and didn't charge me any extra for the additional service. - Mind you,
they were rather expensive in the first place but they did get the
propeller diameter, pitch and balance with the torque output of the
engine, absolutely spot on. My boat tickles into any lock at about
0.5mph on tick-over, is very responsive to rudder movement and cruises
very fast before a wash sets up. It is worth a telephone call there
to see what they have to offer - All Purpose made for EACH craft,
balanced physically for rotation and balanced to engine, hull, draft,
blade area and other important factors.

If your new widebeam is as nicely finished as your narrowboat Albion
was, you will b e delighted and will forget the waiting period.

Best of luck to you Roger! (I'm a little envious). Regards, ~Allan~
