We've got to do a little bit on UK canals:-
1. To shake down the boat.
2. To get it from Brighouse to Newark where it will be lifted out and 
onto a truck for the journey to France. That means a BW number and 
licence for the short while it's in the country. There's not a lot of 
point in getting it to France before about April as the locks won't be 
open and, in any case, the Yonne can be very lively at that time of 
year from my experience. I've certainly witnessed whole tree trunks 
whooshing down the river like twigs :-0
