Actually, you have to be careful here. Foxton, and Watford flights have side pounds - you just can't get a boat on them. Side ponds (like those found not working on many GU locks) are a completely different idea and used for making a lock into two smaller ones to save water. Foxton/Watford use a lock full each time.
