I know that Watford has weirs between the > pound and I THINK Foxton has as well, but I could be wrong You're not wrong, now I come to think of it, there are some concrete weirs in the banks between the pounds, installed (I believe) in relatively modern times to prevent the earth banks washing away so readily.
