Bw men set off from Apperley Yard at about 12.00 today with safety fencing to erect around Newlay locks then they can start work. They have to complete risk assements to get the kit on site down the towpath. Colin nb Patty Ann moored at Apperley with a growing collection of boats waiting for Newlay to re open ( we're going the other way following John)
