Day 8 - Woolhampton to Burghfield

Quite a bit of rain overnight, and more fool me for leaving my sandals outside
on the roof to 'dry'. However, morning was fine and we left at 10:20 [this is
a holiday, after all] transiting Woolhampton Lock without excitement, despite
the many warning signs about the flow from the river below. Stopped at
Aldermaston for water [11:40 to 12:20] then on to moor for lunch about half a
mile short of Tyle Mill Lock. This was an idyllic spot with deep water at the
bank and a nice field to sit our it so 'lunch' took from 13:50 to 16:30.
Decided we should push on to Burghfield and had a lovely cruise in glorious
sunshine, finding a decent spot close to the 'Cunning Man' at about 19:10.
Dinner and a rather good bottle of Shiraz passed away the evening to our
general satisfaction.
