Guten Tag Alexander Hlzel,

AH> Sorry, my last posting escaped to send before it was ready.....

AH> interesting source codes installlation ideas <<<). Why dont you tell that
AH> very clear ?

Additional. As you see the navigation: You come to the startpage. get
some common information about care2x and pushed to the main care2x
resources. Good for newbees. If you walk inside the horizontal linkbar
there is no link back to home. Developers are short in time and infos
about care2x, where they can find the main resources - I think they
know about it.

>> At the visible page of care2x for everyone there have to be as less
>> information as possible. They can go to the main resources eg:
>> care2x.net , com org.

AH> OK, meanwhile I found the links in
AH> http://www.care2x.de/What_is_CARE2x_.400.0.html

Meanwhile Gtz started to help me with the multilang version. So you
can be happy to read some German words.

AH> Yes, Typo3 seems to be great.

But very complex and not easy in installation and administration. This
is the price of a high flexible system. A good planning of a intranet
sollution takes time - normaly half a year of planning. It#s a work
for professionals and consultants. It's not designed as fast food.

AH> Anyway it takes rather big efforts to learn it. (It took me me hours, only
AH> to install it correctly, because the given path routines where not
AH> functional.)

My Win installation took 32 seconds and after 5 minutes of
configuration it was ready to run.
If you are experienced enough with Linux a installation take not more
than 20 minutes with Suse 8.1. I installed it in a way that it is very
deep in the system. But i have the advance that i need only to set 3
symbolic links if a new version comes. Any Webaccount have than the
update. So the different Webaccount owners need no attention because
of updates. In 1 Webaccount you can run with the same database 100 or
more different domains.
There is a debian package - aptget install

Anyways there is no need to learn installation and concepts. With
background access normally you have only a small part what you are
working for. This is very intuitive. So the efforts for the backend
users that are not admins are very small.

>> Wrong my personal and private homepage have to much traffic. I

AH> Whois:

Nice whois but that is not me :-) I run my own nameservers. Hopefully
nowone thinks if he saw this page http://www.goedert.com that is me...

>> Do you need access to implement the scripts for multilanguage?
>>....
>> If the multilang. version is ready it is flexible enough.

AH> I thought that was very easy -quasi inborn- to do in Typo3 ?

Gtz is a very experienced programmer with good skills. He needs
yesterday 5-7 hours only to implement the flags but no effekt for the
change of language. Today in my break here i was lucky. I set only
some code inside the template setup to another place. and it runs
well.

It was more a lucky job. There are different possibilities to do this
job. Nothing is inborn into Typo3. That is the great advance inside
this system.

AH> I am interested to look behind the scenes: Please send me login data.

What part of input you like to give? So i can prepare the links and
the access for your small resource. Another possibility is full admin
access if you like to do more. Or proofreading access, translation
access. All is your choice.
The system registers logins. If someone have access and have 100 days
nothing done a mail is send to remember. After this time it blocks the
access.

>> I offer everyone to bring input. I have no problems with it. The
>> German community is wellcome. The system is designed for it.
>> But i wouldn't like to exclude other nations or developers that like
>> to bring input without the background of a company or company
>> interest.................

AH> It is all very nice offers.

Best is to send me a private mail, to arrange it for you. Or in need
my phone number is +49 (0) 175 9628 128 we can talk about how to fit
your needs.

AH> My point is, that Care2x.DE should -logically- be a german resource.
It is now multilanguage. Why to exclude the developers from other
nations from the ideas and content. So the main language is english.
If some native speaking person thinks the english is worse he can
change and correct it himself.

AH> I also see a tendency to "atomize" the project, if it is too much spread
AH> over different resources.

I agree totally to this point. So care2x is designed NOT to atomize
it. Sorry again for crying. The opposite i thing care2x.de does. It
brings it more close together.

AH> May we should create one html-page (in different langauges), where all
AH> Care2x-related resources are listed, and which is present on every
AH> Care2x-site ??

At the moment i am excluded by decition of Elpidio. I know that in
netherlands there are since a longer time than me to use Typo3. The
other pages are mostly mirrors of the main pages.

Who does this work? Who have access? There must be a responsible
person to manage the consultancies for a large group and all the
countries.

If i search a consultancy for care2x. I can't find Matt for example at
the care2x pages.

We can do it in this way for example. I am in a early preparation for
it. http://typo3.org/about/consultancies-hosting/

The advance is: If something change - special information, email
adress or something else the consultancies can change it themself.

We are nomore in the early 90-ties. We have the possibillity of
dynamic content now.

AH> It could also be just a link on one centrally administered resource-page.
AH> Kind of "commented link list" or something like that.

This i offer also flexible. A link list needs control and the system
here proffes the links automatic.

AH> Wilfried, I do not want to offend you. I am just telling my thoughts.

Thats fine i hope i answered you to your thoughts in a correct way.
