I've contributed my feedback to
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CAS/CAS+Roadmap. I should note that I
spoke for Scott as a developer on a few items because it's my
understanding he's interested and because I didn't want to speak for
them alone. I hope you'll forgive any presumptions I may have made
that are inaccurate.

I took a few bold steps of note:

 - Described CAS5 since the objectives for that release fall into the
category of "major API change."
 - Committed to particular SAML2 specification features for CAS5.

Feedback on the SAML2 specs are of particular interest to me since I
made a number of assumptions about the capabilities we need to address
both existing and presumable future use cases.

As the document now stands, the repetitive third-level headings are
distracting to the meaningful content. I attempted to draft a more
succinct style in the items I added. I believe both the proposal and
rationale can be condensed into a single discussion where the
rationale is evident from the value proposition in the discussion.
