Hi Joseph. I guess I could comment on the power management side.

Just remember whatever scenario you choose, the roach will expect the ATX supply to be there a short while after being powered-on (by chassis button or remotely via Actel Fusion). If not, the fusion will register a FAULT condition, will retry four or five times to power-up and will eventually give up. A ROACH wont mind having the supplies always-on (ie with the ATX supply enable bypassed). If you go this way, I would consider the minimum load requirements, as the load resistors are only enabled when the board is considered by the Actel to be in the powered-up state.
